The National Brain Appeal is the charity dedicated to raising essential funds for The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square, London.
One in six people in the UK are affected by a neurological disorder. This can be from birth, through a slowly developing illness or through brain injury.
The National is one of the world’s leading centres for the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with a wide range of neurological and neuromuscular conditions including multiple sclerosis (MS), brain cancer, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, Prion disease, and head injury.
